Background:

We are seeking a qualified consultant to support the strengthening of the national midwifery workforce. The consultant will play a key role in organizing national dialogues, developing recommendations and action plans, and fostering international collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize a national rollout event (e.g., roundtable, workshop) with key stakeholders to discuss the status and priorities of the midwifery workforce.
• Produce a set of national recommendations and action plans with clear deliverables, timeframes, and responsible parties.
• Support the cooperation of national midwifery groups/societies with international networks and professional associations.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in midwifery, sexual and reproductive health, and/or health workforce development.
• Experience in organizing and facilitating national-level events and consultations.
• Strong analytical and report writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
