This leaflet outlined detailed practical recommendations on antenatal care, intrapartum and postnatal care. The aim of these recommendations is to provide interim guidance to reduce the risk of infection from the mother/newborn to the maternity care provider and from the maternity care provider to the mother/newborn in the immediate clinical care situation.
